PAT testing service for Landlords

Whilst there is no strict regulations that stipulate a need to PAT test appliances a landlord is required to ensure equipment provided as part of the tenancy agreement is safe to use; so electrical appliances must be checked to ensure they are safe.

Appliances should be tested at the start of the tenancy agreement with records kept and periodically inspected throughout the tenancy agreement at intervals appropriate to the risk; usually an annual basis is considered good practice.
